I'm Rohini Nair, an experienced Elementary Math Support teacher and tutor specialising in the early and primary years. Having worked in international school settings, I bring a deep understanding of diverse learners and learning styles.

My teaching is rooted in the CPA (Concrete-Pictorial-Abstract) approach, using hands-on manipulatives and visual models to build strong conceptual understanding and make math meaningful for children.

What sets me apart as an educator is my ability to build strong connections with young learners. I strive to create a supportive, stimulating environment where students feel confident to explore, ask questions and engage deeply with math. What I love most is seeing students gain confidence, not just in mathematics, but in themselves as capable learners. I tailor lessons to each child’s pace and needs, with clear feedback shared after every session so parents stay informed.

In addition to tutoring, I’ve led professional development for educators and delivered online seminars for students at the University of Nottingham, experiences that continue to shape and strengthen my teaching approach.
